Wow after quite a bit of mild work, it is running strong again… although we wanted to keep it as stock as possible there were a few safety mods that had to happen

  • disc brakes for all the hills around here
  • dual master cylinder (because 2 chances to stop are better than one)
  • New radiator
  • New Edelbrock Carb
  • New Edelbrock intake
  • New block huggers
  • New dual chamber flowmasters with a crossover pipe
  • NOS 15″ 55 Chevy rims
  • Wide Whitewalls 78′s
  • NOS fender skirts

We shot the rims and skirts the original color code to “match” the original paint.  The Dupont code number is N7885 Dusk,  822d-h is the original body tag paint number and the original paint code for the car which is a Ivory and Dusk Peal combo… 821 is the actual color of Dusk Pearl.  Anyways despite efforts to maintain originality, we probably should have just mixed the paint to match because as you can see 50+ years of oxidation has had its way and the colors aren’t exactly an exact match.

Here are a couple of the cars our club members have built over the years.
